My Story

about me!

Hey y'all! My name is Katie Wall, a soon-to-be New York based actress who grew up in Charlottesville, VA. I graduated from Viterbo University in 2023 with my BFA in Music Theatre and a Minor in Dance.

My mom says I've been an entertainer from the moment I was born. Always singing (or more likely, babbling) for anyone that would listen. But the place that I was able to foster my love for performing was in my community. It was there that I learned that the stories I love to tell are ones where I can find connection with others, whether it be my colleagues or members of the audience.

During my time in undergrad, I founded the Student Theatre Project at Viterbo University, presided as the Vice President of Public Relations for Student Government Association and explored my love for directing and producing! Currently, I am the Associate Artistic Director at DMR Adventures in Charlottesville, VA. I have been able to explore so many aspects of the arts in this role and reconnect with the very same theatre that fostered my love for performing. I learn so much every day teaching students of all ages how to find joy in the theater and performing arts.

Winter 2026

I am ecstatic to announce that I am officially based in New York City. Only a crazy person would move into a new apartment in New York on New Years Eve, right...? Then, call me crazy!

I am so excited to call the city my new home and continue to grow as an artist in a pretty cool place surrounded by old and new friends.

Fall 2025

Summer 2025

I can't wait to join the company of Into the Woods at Virginia Theatre Festival this summer directed and choreographed by Matthew Steffens! I will be playing Florinda and am so excited to be fulfilling a childhood goal of working with this company and working with members of the Charlottesville and the New York community. Tickets are on sale now! Come journey into the woods with us June 27-July 6!

I am so excited to join Venture Stage Company's production of Dogfight. Rose has been a dream role of mine since I was probably too young to even know what this show was about! I am so grateful to be surrounded by such a wonderful cast and company.

Spring 2025

I'm so excited to be joining an incredible cast in the ensemble of The Prom at Four County Players. I will also be understudying Angie and Dee Dee as well as Dance Captaining! This show holds a near and dear place in my heart and being able to tell a story of acceptance and love in the face of adversity, especially now, means so much.
